Safe travels, lovely girl

Things about our beautiful Cass-pup: she loved to follow from in front, checking all the while that she was going in the right direction; she was scared to go in the pool, but loved the ocean and the river; pounce and chase was her favourite game, closely followed by hunt-the-toy; our property was constantly under superior levels of observation – pigeons and rats, beware!; coming home was always an event, with more tail wagging and puppy smiles than any other pup could plausibly provide. You’ve left us too soon, little one, and our hearts are broken. We miss you.
So very sorry, Nik. Many hugs.
Kipling comes to mind; “…Day after day, the whole day through— Wherever my road inclined— Four-Feet said, ‘I am coming with you!’
And trotted along behind. Now I must go by some other round,— Which I shall never find— Somewhere that does not carry the sound
Of Four-Feet trotting behind.”
